Traditional Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient healing system utilizing universal life force energy that flows through all that exists. Reiki comes from the Higher Self (or God, Source, Universe if you like). It is an intelligent energy, one that doesn’t need to be guided as it flows to where it’s needed most. Reiki practitioners are nothing but the channels of that energy, allowing it to flow from the Universe to the patient. In its essence Reiki is pure Love, Light and Healing.
How Reiki works?
Reiki is based on holistic medicine belief that disease comes from inner imbalance between mind, body and soul. By lifting energy blocks and regulating energy flow through all meridians (energy channels) it allows the harmony back into person’s body. The practitioner receives Reiki energy from the universe and transfers is by laying hands on the patient. Both practitioner and the receiver can feel the energy flow in a form of warmth, cool, or gentle tingling.
Reiki can be also sent in distance healing sessions and can be used on animals, plants and any other form of life.

Reiki sessions
Each session is individual and depends on the needs of the person. It lasts from 30 to 60 minutes. Patient can either lie down on massage table or sit in a chair and is fully dressed. Reiki is transferred by gentle lay of hands on different parts of patient’s body. Reiki is a non-invasive method and is not harmful in any way.

Is Reiki dangerous?
There is no danger in Reiki and it can do you no harm. The Energy comes from the Universe, source of all that is good. It may not work exactly as you expect but it heals according to your higher good.
Do I need to believe in Reiki to be healed?
No, you don’t have to believe, as the energy flows through you whether you believe in it or not. It is recommended thought to be open and free of judgment as the resistance will slow down the healing process.
Who can become a Reiki practitioner?
Anyone can use Reiki to heal themselves and others. There is a process of teaching and initiations that opens you up to receiving the energy.

Traditional Reiki Workshops
There are 3 degree levels in Reiki healing system:
1. Reiki I Degree - raises student's vibration to such level where Reiki energy can be received and used or healing of one-self and others.
Reiki I Workshop
Duration - 1 day (around 8 hours)Outline: |

2. Reiki II Degree - it further raises student's vibration level and teaches sacred Reiki symbol that allow to work on mental and emotional planes as well as physical. Distant healing is also part of that level.

3. Reiki III Degree is a Master level. Student learns master symbols and the way to initiate and teach others.
Receiving Reiki Master degree is a longer process that requires student to be on higher level spiritual growth showing deeper understanding and empathy for all the creation.
Student needs to spend time assisting his teacher in sessions and workshops, attending Reiki Circles regularily and practicing Reiki on himself and others privately as well.
Time needed to become ready for this step is individual. Anyone wishing to complete this level needs to arrange a private (free) meeting with us to discuss the subject.
Reiki Master level will conclude with a weekend workshop where we will go back over all Reiki I and II knowledge and learn how to teach and attune others and more. There is a last initation and Reiki Master symbol to be received at this level.
Course concludes with receiving Reiki Master Teacher Diploma.

Kundalini Reiki
What is Kundalini?
Kundalini means that certain healing channels and chakras have been opened, and you have thereby gained access to the Earth's energy which is a part of the universal energy. The Root chakra, which is the energy centre located near the coccyx, acts as an entrance for the Kundalini energy.
The Kundalini energy is also referred to as "the Kundalini Fire." Hereafter, the energy runs all the way up through the body, through the main energy channel, and out of the Crown chakra. An open Kundalini means that over a period of time, a complete cleansing of the chakras, the body parts and the energy channels is obtained.
What is Kundalini Reiki ?
Unlike most other Reiki traditions, Kundalini Reiki uses a synergy of Reiki (intelligent universal energy) and Kundalini (raw Earth energy). The Kundalini greatly strengthens the Reiki, while the Reiki "tempers" the Kundalini, rendering it perfectly safe to use.
A person who has, or has had problems with wrong Kundalini awakening, or other problems with the Kundalini energy, can most often be helped with Kundalini Reiki.
Kundalini Reiki uses no symbols and no complicated system of set hand positions. Starting the energy flow is achieved by intent.
The safe Kundalini awakening which the practitioner undergoes can be a great force for transformation and personal evolution.
How can I learn Kundalini Reiki ?
Kundalini Reiki is taught in three levels. You will receive a manual and after completing the Master Level you will receive completion certificate.

Kundalini Reiki Levels
Kundalini Reiki 1:
The first attunement gives the ability to perform Reiki energy work on yourself or others, hands-on or at a distance. At the same time the student's energy body is readied for the Kundalini awakening to come in Kundalini Reiki 2. At this stage you may use the basic Reiki energy on yourself and others.
Kundalini Reiki 2:
The body's main energy channel opens, gently awakening and raising the Kundalini energy to at least the solar plexus chakra. A specific daily meditation which temporarily increases the flow of Kundalini energy is taught, and a complete cleansing of the energy system begins. At this point you should now use the Kundalini Reiki energy on yourself only, although you may still use the basic Reiki energy from Kundalini Reiki 1 on others.
Kundalini Reiki 3 (Master Level):
The Kundalini channel is widened further and the Kundalini essence reaches up and out of the crown chakra. Full raising of the Kundalini core flame can eventually take place.
This level includes:

Once you have applied these energies to yourself you are a Kundalini Reiki Master and may use them on others. You are also taught to attune others to all levels of Kundalini Reiki.
Kundalini Reiki Booster Attunements:
There are six booster attunements. They reinforce the previous attunements, and they also widen and strengthen the chakra opening of your hands and energy channels, allowing even greater amounts of Kundalini Reiki to flow through you more quickly. The boosters also strengthen the opening in the hands so they do not begin to shut down as easily. After receiving the final Kundalini booster, your ability to channel the Kundalini Reiki energy will be increased by up to 400%!
Due to the strenght of Kundalini energy it is open only to people already attuned to Level II of traditional Reiki healing system.
There must be at least 2 days between Level 1 and Level 2 attunements.
10 days between Level 2 and Level 3 attunements.

Reiki Healing Circle
Join us every third Tuesday of the month in Marino Institute of Education (Griffith Avenue, Dublin 9) to experience amazing light of Reiki Healing in a safe, comfortable, open-minded group setting.
You will be able to relax and get in touch with your inner peace, meet many like-minded people, learn about Reiki and receive free Reiki treatment.
The Reiki Circle starts at 7pm sharp. We begin with relaxation exercises and a guided meditation before moving to the group treatments. We will finish at 9 pm.
Reiki practitioners are encouraged to join the group to give and receive the beautiful gift of Reiki.
This is a Free Event but we appreciate Free-Will Donations (suggested amount is 10 - 15 euro) to cover the cost of room rental and materials.
